I am very happy! It really got to me that censorship may have won out. The issue of LGBT discrimination remains, and I still think that they are giving extra scrutiny to LGBT blogs -- any sexual content may get you an adult rating, even if it is innocent. But this is a huge victory for online freedom. I am sure at Google the CEO (it got up that far I am sure) Dr. Eric Schmidt scratched his head in disbelief that someone lower actually approved this policy.
I'm happy to hear this too ... I think it was disingenuous of Google to pretend that it hadn't been making money from advertising attracted by X-rated blogs, many of which were about gay issues. Glad to see they remembered what side of the bread the butter is on, and that they shouldn't be differentiating among types of traffic that brings them clicks.
Fantastic news and so I decided to stay and continue as well.
Great news. Glad to see you back Ziggy.
